Gulool Ja Ja

This is my navigation guide to finding the ToAU King of Mamook, Gulool Ja Ja. ToAU kings are difficult to get to and require attention from all members in the group desiring to take down these guys. The fight against Gulool Ja Ja is a fun one and not entirely difficult. I hope this navigation guide will help make the path to Medusa an easy one.

Required Items
1) Mamook Tanscale Key x2
2) Mamook Blackscale Key
3) Mamook Silverscale Key

It will take two people holding keys to get to Gulool Ja Ja. One person much hold all three keys to get through the Mahogany Door that Gulool Ja Ja lives behind.

I recommend farming your keys ahead of time because the monsters that drop the keys are spread throughout the zone. When traveling to Gulool Ja Ja, it is best to just focus on traveling to Medusa and nothing else. Once you have your keys and regroup, take Mamool Ja Staging Point to the first map shown below.



From here you want to head to Mamook (2). There is no True Aggro in this path, but the Mamool and Puks agro to Sight and Sound, so Sneak/Invis is a must. Or if you care just train them to the zone, it's not far.



Super easy path. The spiders do not aggro, but they do link. The Mamool agro to Sight and True Sight. You will most likely have to fight your way through. Have the member holding the single tanscale key to the gate and run through. This door can be opened from behind, so don't stress if someone is on the other side once it closes.



Now for the final run to Gulool Ja Ja. He lives behind the Mahogany Door at (E-8). Most of the Mamool here are True Aggro so you will have to fight your way through to the door. There is a gate at (J-8) that you can walk around by taking the South path. Make sure to stay on the map and don't go into any hidden tunnels, as they will not take you where you want to go. Once you have killed all aggro and everyone is ready, trade your 3 keys at once to the Mahogany Door and face Gulool Ja Ja.



Notes
-Gulool Uses a TP move on any Mage that casts on him. Enfeebles are not recommended including Flash. If you have a tank, make sure they have Provoke. The TP moves deal dmg of 300~800, Ignore's Shadows
-Gulool will use Mijin Gakure @3% or less. I recommend having everyone run 20'+ that isn't tanking and slowly bring him down until he does Mijin Gakure. Gulool will completely resist Stun (Magic Form) like all the kings, so trying to Stun lock him and zerg him might not be recommended.
